Give me some good beer, conversation, friends, and music and there is little that will bother me. I try to treat others as I wish to be treated and when I don't, I like to think I learn from my mistakes. I believe most people are trustworthy until proven otherwise. I'm a conversational snob. I have little tolerance for stupidity or rudeness. Common courtesy is one of the best traits one can have. I believe there is conversation that is inappropriate for the dinner table. I love running into people I used to know, but am always happier if I look cute when it happens. I think there would be much less ruckus in the world if brunch were a daily offering.

Last Night

Jim and I haven't seen each other for weeks (I was gone on trips and then he was) so it was great to catch up with him last night. We ordered Chinese and watched The OC from last week that he had missed. I really miss him when he's not around and evidently he misses me so it was wonderful spending time with him. We will probably be hanging out this weekend as well - some sort of party that will likely turn out to be another odd evening given the track record of the person throwing it...I'm a bit leery but have signed up regardless.

Some interesting news I found out yesterday - I may get to do some international travel for work this summer. I'm trying not to get too excited about it until it's finalized...and I don't want to jinx it by talking about it too much...but if it does work out it would be an amazing opportunity to see a place I've been wanting to go for a long time. Keep your fingers crossed for me :)
