Pink Elephants and Dumbo

We've been discussing pink elephants this afternoon and a few people who are usually very informed had no recollection of the pink elephants on parade scene in Dumbo (for a refresher or an introduction, click above). Now, I may be more familiar with it than most because whenever my cousins from up North would come down to visit they would want to watch Dumbo over and over and over and over and well, you get the point. Looking back, I can't really fault them - they weren't allowed to watch television or movies - but would a little diversity have hurt them? I can't tell you how many episodes of A-Team my brother and I had to sacrifice for those younger cousins.
