Give me some good beer, conversation, friends, and music and there is little that will bother me. I try to treat others as I wish to be treated and when I don't, I like to think I learn from my mistakes. I believe most people are trustworthy until proven otherwise. I'm a conversational snob. I have little tolerance for stupidity or rudeness. Common courtesy is one of the best traits one can have. I believe there is conversation that is inappropriate for the dinner table. I love running into people I used to know, but am always happier if I look cute when it happens. I think there would be much less ruckus in the world if brunch were a daily offering.

A Rant From A Friend

This email made my night last night. Too funny....

"Parrotards just peg my chucklehead-meter, but you knew that already. It's not Mr. Buffett's music that infuriates me so much as what it represents -- not to mention, I find the man's hypocrisy just appalling. Mr. Buffett is a shrewd businessman who labors hard and makes bakery trucks full of dough by selling a carefree lifestyle of sloth and addiction to unsophisticated working-class rubes who have no idea that they're being hustled. 'Here,' says Jimmy, 'use the money from Dakota and Kayleigh's college fund to buy into my lifestyle; don't mind me getting rich -- you'll scrape by installing cable boxes.'

"And don't even get me started on chucklehead Clyde’s patrons who bleat out "I've Got Friends in Low Places” at the end of the night as if they were world-weary rural sorts drinking away their woes in some isolated watering hole. Yes: your pals on the Hill and at Covington & Burling are indeed in low places. Have another Ketel One appletini."
