Give me some good beer, conversation, friends, and music and there is little that will bother me. I try to treat others as I wish to be treated and when I don't, I like to think I learn from my mistakes. I believe most people are trustworthy until proven otherwise. I'm a conversational snob. I have little tolerance for stupidity or rudeness. Common courtesy is one of the best traits one can have. I believe there is conversation that is inappropriate for the dinner table. I love running into people I used to know, but am always happier if I look cute when it happens. I think there would be much less ruckus in the world if brunch were a daily offering.

Last Night

Apart from the drama of "the Breakup", last night was really fun. A small group of us went for drinks with an old co-worker who is in town on break from grad school in Atlanta. It was so good to see him. I really miss him a lot around here most days. He was always cheerful and full of life and this place can sometimes suck that out of you.

In addition to hanging with C-biscuit, I got to meet my friend's new boyfriend. He is outstanding on first meet. Good guy, cute, personable and you can see that he really likes my friend. This is the first time he's dated someone somewhat seriously since I've known him (going on 2 years)and it is so good to see him happy. He's a great guy and better friend and makes me laugh whenever we get to spend time together. Plus, he introduced me to the Maker's Manhattan with extra cherries and for that I will be forever grateful :)
