Give me some good beer, conversation, friends, and music and there is little that will bother me. I try to treat others as I wish to be treated and when I don't, I like to think I learn from my mistakes. I believe most people are trustworthy until proven otherwise. I'm a conversational snob. I have little tolerance for stupidity or rudeness. Common courtesy is one of the best traits one can have. I believe there is conversation that is inappropriate for the dinner table. I love running into people I used to know, but am always happier if I look cute when it happens. I think there would be much less ruckus in the world if brunch were a daily offering.

They're Alive!!!

I have them back. I think. I opened my office door today to find a Gumby and Pokey on my desk with this note:

"I know that you and have been overwrought by our disappearance and the evil communiques you have been receiving. Although it has been interesting and very educational to visit the many tourist attractions in and around the DC area, the inhumane and cruel treatment we have received at the hands of our tormentors has destroyed any joy we might have had. To alleviate your distress until we can escape from the horrid "gumbynator", we have sent out distant cousins "Pokeycuz" and "Gumbycuz" to be with you and to allay your fears of never seeing us, your beloved Pokey and Gumby, again. Please be consoled by the presence of Pokeycuz and Gumbycuz and hopefully we will soon be with you once again. P&G (AKA Pokey and Gumby)"

Hmmm...I also received this IM which came right after I got in this morning:

plasticpetliberationleague: We have had more sightings of your pets. They appear unharmed. Happy even. Why, we believe they are frolicking.
