Give me some good beer, conversation, friends, and music and there is little that will bother me. I try to treat others as I wish to be treated and when I don't, I like to think I learn from my mistakes. I believe most people are trustworthy until proven otherwise. I'm a conversational snob. I have little tolerance for stupidity or rudeness. Common courtesy is one of the best traits one can have. I believe there is conversation that is inappropriate for the dinner table. I love running into people I used to know, but am always happier if I look cute when it happens. I think there would be much less ruckus in the world if brunch were a daily offering.

Let Me Get This Straight

The only way to prevent further attacks on our country and protect this great nation of ours is to perform illegal wiretaps? Awesome.

Shocker - he pushed for more tax cuts and only the repubs stood and clapped. Let's be honest - one of the main reason I watch SOTU is to watch the reaction shots of Congress and how many times only the right stands up. Sigh. A house divided falls. Didn't these people take history?

I don't think I've ever laughed during SOTU until now when I just watched the left stand and applaud when Dub complained about Congress not passing his SS reform.

    of course they haven't read history. That would be hard work! You don't need history when you are "the country that saved democracy in Europe."
